Tested To EN Safety Standards

The Uvex R265E Long Sleeved Chemical Gauntlets have been tested against mechanical risks under the European standards EN 388 and EN 374. EN 388 tests the gloves’ protection against hazards such as cuts, tears, puncture, and abrasion, while EN 374 tests the protection the gloves provide against the penetration and permeation of chemicals.

Type A Chemical Gauntlets

The UCi 65cm Long Sleeved Gloves loves have achieved level 2 or greater against six of the chemicals listed in EN ISO 374-1 (please see above). These protective gloves have a permeation resistance of at least 30 minutes with these six test chemicals.

Despite its heavyweight construction, you won’t need to worry about these chemical gauntlets being uncomfortable to wear, even with extended usage. A soft cotton interlock liner has been added for sweat absorption, and a Sanitized hygiene function works throughout extended usage to enhance freshness, hygiene and odour repellance, preventing any discomfort under these heavyweight chemical gloves.
