Medline SensiCare Shield Latex-Free Sterile Powder Free Surgical Gloves

The Medline SensiCare Shield Latex-Free Sterile Powder Free Surgical Gloves are black sterile surgical gloves designed to shield hands from scattered radiation and are suitable for procedures requiring fluoroscopy.

These gloves are classified as a Class IIa Medical Device.

Radiation-Resistive Tungsten Infusion

Made from Isolex, Medline’s proprietary polyisoprene, the SensiCare Shield gloves are infused with Tungsten to attenuate radiation. Unlike the commonly-used lead, tungsten is non-toxic and does not have the ecological problems associated with lead. In fact, the SensiCare Shield gloves can be disposed of in the normal stream of waste, eliminating the potential extra costs of lead waste disposal.

Powder-Free

The gloves are supplied powder-free, helping to reduce the chance of powder-related skin irritation occurring as well as limiting post-operative complications associated with granulomas.
